
Vibe cuts circulation, streamlines. A popular music and urban culture publication is feeling the heat of the nation’s economic burn. Vibe magazine has announced that it will cut its circulation by 25 percent. The mag says it will also reduce its publication schedule from 12 issues a year to 10. Vibe is the second urban publication launched in the 1990s to face a money crunch in the new millennium. The Source closed its doors and experienced a bankruptcy before restructuring.
